We are also here to help you informally resolve any problems or disputes that might arise between the parties involved in your claim, and we can answer your questions about the workers’ compensation system. There is no charge for our services.

EAO offers web services to injured workers - Many injured workers, and other persons with questions about workers' compensation often find it more convenient to ask their questions by e-mail. During FY 2008-09, the Employee Assistance and Ombudsman Office responded to 967 e-mail inquiries. This service is available to injured workers and the public at the following web address: wceao@myfloridacfo.com.
EAO Educates Injured Workers - During FY 2008-09, the Bureau of Employee Assistance and Ombudsman Office educated and provided assistance to 72,719 injured workers, including 8,823 who were Spanish speaking. EAO Assists Injured Workers - The Employee Assistance and Ombudsman Office secured $645,803 in indemnity benefits for 425 injured workers and obtained 879 medical authorizations from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.
