Whenever a tropical storm, a hurricane or severe tornado takes aim at our state, Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink activates a special consumer helpline through which you can seek assistance on any insurance matter.

Staff is ready to help you understand the steps you need to take to process your insurance claim and recover from the damage.

Hurricane Mitigation

Long-term mitigation is the best way to reduce the potential threat of damage from a hurricane or tropical storm. By mitigating your home, you may also be entitled to discounts on your insurance premiums.
