Note: Insurance companies, by statute, have 20 days to respond to the Department once a complaint has been filed. Usually the response time is much quicker and we strive to successfully close a file within 30 days.

Before the documents leave the Department, personal information (such as social security numbers, policy numbers, and health and financial information) is removed. The information that may be provided is limited to your name, address, telephone number, email address, and the name of your insurance company.
