Florida Fire Prevention Code
The 2007 Edition of the
Florida Fire Prevention Code
The Division of State Fire Marshal has completed the development
of the 2007 edition of the Florida Fire Prevention Code (FFPC). The base documents for the 2007 edition of the FFPC
are the NFPA 1, Uniform Fire Code and NFPA 101, Life Safety Code, 2006
editions. The FFPC is now available from BNi Publications at the address
listed below.
The Division of State Fire
Marshal will continue to work with the Florida Fire Code Advisory Council (FCAC)
and the Florida Building Commission to make the FFPC as coordinated as
possible when used in conjunction with the Florida Building Code. The FCAC
meets at least quarterly and each meeting is listed on our web site. The
public is invited to attend and actively participate in all meetings.
